Project 14469 completed 2004: A Norwegian software development company needed online help produced for a Linux-based PDA operating system. We developed the documentation to meet the client's pressing deadline, and delivered it using an innovative inhouse-developed VBA publishing solution.
Project 14327 completed 2003: A small software company developing expert systems for the insurance and finance industry identified that they needed to comply with ISO9000 in order to support growth: both in terms of helping to absorb new staff, and also in terms of additional sales to Government clients. We analysed the processes of the company, identified staff roadblocks to their compliance, correlated their processes with the requirements of ISO9000, and delivered a complete road map which showed exactly what documents they had to produce, what training they needed to put into place, and what they had to do each month to reach their goal. Project 14295 completed 2003: A software company had developed a suite of programs for creating and maintaining intelligent web-based applications. We designed and wrote complete sets of generic user and system documentation that they could adapt for applications developed using the suite.
We also wrote a white paper that explained is simple, easy to understand, terms how the suite worked and the advantages for clients of the 'intelligent application' approach. Project 14279 completed 2003: Realisation was requested to analyse the documentation needs for a tax accounting package developed by a major accountancy firm for the Australian market. We developed a plan for providing online help for the product, that could be scaled as the produce expanded to cover different market niches, with corresponding training for conulting accountants.
Project 14255 completed 2003: An international provider of business training and coaching developed a modular software system to assist their trainers and managers in tracking contacts with clients, managing training courses and managing the activities and scheduling of trainers and resources.
Realisation planned and created online help, directed at users of various levels of responsibility within the company, to assist the to understand the concepts involved in using the new system to manage both internal and external activities and to provide them with reference material and procedural guidance to allow them to learn about the system and use it efficiently.
Project 14232 completed 2003: Realisation prepared a plan to provide systems documentation (data dictionary etc) for a software system developed by a
NSW State Government department.
Project 14222 completed 2003: A leading Australian developer of software to control the broadcast of data developed a customised version of their package for the BBC in London. Realisation planned and created a user manual and on-line help for the package.
