Project 14401 completed 2003: A national company requested Realisation to assist in developing processes and systems to integrate sustainability planning into the planning, design and construction management phases of its development projects. We worked with specialist consultants in the field to develop a coherent set of policies, standards and procedures that will assist project team members in meeting sustainability requirements and identifying opportunities for innovative solutions in the field. Project 14320 completed 2004: A national company, responsible for the maintenance of utility supply lines, had been audited for ISO9000 certification and the audit had identified numerous problems with the documents in their document management system, which itself was to be replaced. Realisation prepared a plan to address the issues raised by auditors, including problems with duplication, making the system more user-friendly and improving the profile of the system.
Project 14292 completed 2003: An Australia-wide energy company requested our assistance in planning and costing performance support requirements for a major SAP upgrade. We reviewed existing support materials and established what additional materials needed to be developed. We analysed current usage patterns to plan appropriate media and resourcing of training in various sets of tasks, and wrote a recommended training plan to provide training in a range of media to meet the different audience needs. This plan formed an essential part of the change management costing and scheduling of the upgrade project.
Project 14214 completed 2003: A power supply company that was
bringing some IT services back in-house after a period of outsourcing requested our help in identifying and documenting the core IT processes. We carried out an analysis of the activities undertaken by IT and its relationships with the business. Our plan streamlined these activities into four core processes, and the ways in which IT accounts for these activities in reference to overall strategy and reporting requirements.
Project 14165 completed 2003: An Australian energy supplier was implementing a company-wide system of documentation and training materials based on a document management product called Mentor which is developed by Panviva. Realisation provided the technical writing resources to author and/or edit the materials in Mentor and to track progress.
