Project 14469 completed 2004: A Norwegian software development company needed online help produced for a Linux-based PDA operating system. We developed the documentation to meet the client's pressing deadline, and delivered it using an innovative inhouse-developed VBA publishing solution.

Project 14367 completed 2003: A mobile carrier was introducing new 3G technology to their mobile phone network users and required user-facing documentation to introduce the concepts and support the setting up and use of the new system. Realisation researched and wrote a suite of documents covering set-up and use of the system for deployment via the carrier's website. This documentation will assist greatly in the acceptance of this technology and build confidence in its use.

Project 14279 completed 2003: Realisation was requested to analyse the documentation needs for a tax accounting package developed by a major accountancy firm for the Australian market. We developed a plan for providing online help for the product, that could be scaled as the produce expanded to cover different market niches, with corresponding training for conulting accountants.

Project 14277 completed 2004: A leading international mining and resources company had developed a project management system that required user guides. Realisation planned and wrote this documentation.

Project 14255 completed 2003: An international provider of business training and coaching developed a modular software system to assist their trainers and managers in tracking contacts with clients, managing training courses and managing the activities and scheduling of trainers and resources. Realisation planned and created online help, directed at users of various levels of responsibility within the company, to assist the to understand the concepts involved in using the new system to manage both internal and external activities and to provide them with reference material and procedural guidance to allow them to learn about the system and use it efficiently.

Project 14222 completed 2003: A leading Australian developer of software to control the broadcast of data developed a customised version of their package for the BBC in London. Realisation planned and created a user manual and on-line help for the package.

Project 14193 completed 2003: A new Australian company was developing an innovative clinical diagnostic tool and required closely focussed user documentation to support the sales and use of the product worldwide. The company approached Realisation who planned the development of a user manual aimed at a specific target user audience. The document was produced and was supported by an on-line help version and an attractive wall chart. The project was completed on schedule and on budget and provided a powerful tool in gaining user acceptance.

Project 14167 completed 2003: A leading Australian producer of interactive television software developed a system to streamline and facilitate the process by which television network operators control the broadcast of interactive data. Realisation specified and wrote a user manual for the software and subsequently revised the manual to cater for additional functionality.

Project 14191 completed 2003: An Australian manufacturer of a corporate document design, distribution and retrieval system that enables formatting of printstream data developed a smaller-scale version of the product aimed at the small business market. It is designed to enable Microsoft Windows for host and data printing. Realisation planned, developed and delivered online user manuals for the product. Realisation also re-designed the wizards that are an integral part of the system to make them clearer to the targeted non-technical audience.

Project 14142 completed 2002: Our client was a developer and installer of gaming machines. A common problem in this industry is the need for different reporting and different documentation in each legislation area (each State), and we provided a writer to customise the support documentation for the client's products for a new market.

Project 14015 completed 2002: A biotechnology startup company marketing a suite of laboratory research instrumentation approached Realisation to assist them in developing training documentation to enable them to provide training for new users of their instruments.

Project 12784 completed 2002: Our client designed and manufactured a proteomics platform - a set of scientific instruments used for the analysis of proteins for the biotechnology industry. This involved a number of machines including a robotic sample processing system, a mass spectrometer and a centralised IT system to ensure that all of these worked together. We developed a documentation strategy for the platform, wrote the user manuals and training materials. We also provided consulting on compliance management.
